Luke Storey is a wardrobe stylist based in LA. He’s worked with a diverse range of musicians in the past 15 years including Kanye West, Marilyn Manson, Foo Fighters, Lisa Marie Presley, Lupe Fiasco, Deadmau5, and No Doubt. Other celebrity clients have included Kim Kardashian, Sebastian Stan, Kendall Jenner, and Krysten Ritter.
Luke has styled music videos, commercials, tours, album packaging, celebrity red carpet and television appearances, films, print advertising, and fashion editorials. During the course of his career he’s had to opportunity to work with some of the industry’s most renowned photographers such as David LaChapelle, Matthias Vriens-McGrath, Kenneth Cappello, and Richard Burbridge. In addition to styling for magazines like Bullett, Flaunt, Schon!, and Zink, in 2011 he became became a regular editorial contributor to London based Fault Magazine.
Luke has also appeared on television shows including Style Network’s Style Star, VH1’s America’s Most Smartest Model & Glam God, and MTV’s The Hills.
In 2008 he founded School of Style, an innovative boutique fashion school for aspiring stylists. School of Style offers multiple classes in LA and NYC on an ongoing basis, and in 2013 branched out to six additional US cities. School of Style’s students have an extremely high success rate, and have gone on to work with literally hundreds of the world’s biggest stylists, fashion editors, costume designers, celebrities, photographers, and magazines.
In 2013 Luke was hired as an instructor of fashion styling at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) Los Angeles, and has also been a guest speaker at The Fashionista.com Conference, Simply Stylist, The School of Fashion at Parsons, FIDM San Diego, Woodbury University, The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and author Neil Strauss’s Society 100, lecturing on fashion, and styling as a career.
